Shah Rukh Khan apologize

SRK reach Mumbai today amidst tight security and Shiv Sena was accepting an apology from SRK, and he apologized, but to Karan and Kajol.

SRK said, I am really sorry. Would like to apologize to Kajol, Karan Johar and our business partners. The film is going to be affected because of what I said. ‘My Name Is Khan,’ is not my film alone. It has Kajol, Karan ( Johar) and 150 other people whose livelihood depends upon it.”

He further added, “I have done nothing wrong in saying what I did about the Pakistani players, and I said that as an Indian. If Bal Thackeray will call me, I will meet him anytime. I enjoy his company.”

Meanwhile SRK who is a son of a freedom frighter, was branded as traitor by Shiv Sena.

Party chief Bal Thackerey said, “Shahrukh is a traitor and he has insulted sentiments of Indians by favoring Pakistan players.”

However Shiv Sena has decided not disrupt MNIK screening, they said, “How do we awaken this Congress party? This is how you rule. So go ahead. Let Shah Rukh Khan show his film My Name Is Khan without security. Traitors with the blessings of the Congress go ahead; the Shiv Sena will not block you.”

Good that Shiv Sena has decided against disrupting of the movie.

Salman: No need to apologize SRK

Old friend of Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan has come out to support SRK in the on going Shiv Sena contentious matter.

SRK who was targeted by Shiv Sena for supporting Pakistani cricketers to take part in IPL, the Shiv Sena has asked SRK to make an apology for his remarks or else they will disrupt the screening of his flick My Name is Khan.

However good old friend Salman Khan has stood up for SRK and feels that he doesn’t need to say sorry to Shiv Sena, Salman said, “Shah Rukh doesn`t owe an apology to Shiv Sena”.

Salman further adds, “What should he ask for forgiveness for? ‘My Name is Khan’ should be released for sure. It has to. As an industry we pay huge entertainment tax to the government and we entertain the people also. We don’t think like politicians. I anyway don’t understand this whole thing of taking a morcha and going to somebody’s house,”

“I think what Shah Rukh said was that the Pakistani players should have been included in the IPL. If I’m not mistaken even our Home Minister P Chidambaram said the same thing. Sports and politics are two different things. In cricket, the only thing you hit is a ball. A sporting field is all about sportsmanship, sports are such a wonderful leveler that both winners and losers shake hands in the beginning as well as at the end of the match.”

Earlier Abhishek Bachchan also tweeted in support of SRK.

Katrina Kaif was awarded with excellence in cinema award in Delhi and she utilized her time to dance and perform at the sangeet ceremony of Radhika Singhl and Saurabh Doot.

While few days ago Katrina said that she is very conservative and will refrain from wearing bikini and smooching onscreen, she danced enthusiastically and did a sexy dance routine with the groom Saurabh, which went down well with the crowd, including bride Radhika.

Katrina said to Radhika, “Can I take your groom for two minutes? I want to take your permission. I don’t want to get into trouble. I’m in enough trouble already.” Radhika blushed and smiles and said, “Take him”, and then cheered them.

The star took home whooping 50 lakhs for her performance that lasted for 20 minutes.

Bikini is out of question for me: Vidya Balan

While her contemporaries Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta love flaunting their curves and hourglass figures in bikinis, Bollywood artiste Vidya Balan is quite cheerful and relaxed in her much loved clothing - the sari - and says she will not at all wear a bikini.

“I am not cut out for it, as I feel very relaxed in my saris and other Indian clothing. Even if the writing demands, I don't believe I will ever be able to convince myself to wear a sari," said Vidya, who earlier received a lot of flak for her dressing sense and plump body.

The 30-year old Balan has slimmed quite radically and looks extremely ravishing in her shiny avatar. "Of late, I have started loving the seedha palla (straight fall) of the sari. I am very relaxed in Indian attires and I guess I carry them off beautiful well," she said.

Vidya, who plays the role of a scheming seductress igniting quite some heat within the industry circles and outside on the eve of the film’s release, says that an actress should be ready to take on any role that’s offered to her. “I think I have been fortunate enough to have worked on the kind of films which have quenched my thirst as an actor. 'Ishqiya' too is one such film which has given me new challenges," Vidya said in an interview.

With an author backed role for her in 'Ishqiya', Vidya hopes to scale new heights in her acting career. "Every day is a new day and God has been really kind to me all these years. I really hope that 'Ishqiya' works as well so that I can continue to make good decisions," she says. Vidya, who is riding high on the success of 'Paa', says the role has not just challenged her as an actor but also helped she to stick to what she feels is right.
