Salman Khan is sorry for his 26/11 comments

Salman Khan's movie Dabangg has cashed in a lot of money in its opening weekend. With his movie meeting the expectation of its viewers, Salman has again met with a controversy. After all the controversies regarding his comment on a Pakistani TV Channel about the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, and after all the efforts of making media understand that his words have been interpreted wrongly, Salman has finally apologized on a micro blogging site saying, "Looks like I mite have to get off twitter. Don't want to but what to do? I think I messed up, so sorry guys, sorry bolne mein koi sharam nahi(Why to be shameful to say sorry!)"
Salman reveals that he has ruined it all this weekend, he said, "Hurt v hurt, yeh kya ? straight thru my heart. My mum n dad yaar my bro's my sisters. Family had to go thru torture on Eid and Ganesh Utsav."
Adding sarcasm to the controversy that star said, "Next time mein apne sub interview sub khud bhi record karoonga kya bolte ho? Takeh yeh sub controversies nahi ho (next time I will record all my interviews myself, at least it won't end up making controversies).”
He added, "Every human life has equal value n any act of terror, anywhere in the world is unpardonable. be it 9/11 or 26/11."
Salman the controversy's child:

Salman Khan fell into the controversy pit this weekend when in an interview with a Pakistani Channel named Express TV, he said, "Too much hype has been created around the 26/11 attacks because elite people were targeted. Attacks have happened in trains and small towns too, but no one talked about it so much. Everybody knows that the Pakistani government was not behind it and it was a terrorist attack. Our security had failed. We have had lot of attacks earlier, and all of them were not from Pakistan. They were from within."

When his words aroused a feeling of controversy in India he said to Indian TV channel, "The interview has been twisted. I saw it myself, the way it is coming across on TV, it is sounding insensitive. I was just saying life is equal for both rich and poor, some attacks get more media coverage and some don't. Why is that? Every human life is important."

"Any attack or terrorist attack in the world is unpardonable. A terrorist has no nationality, no religion and no guts. I have complete faith in our intelligence agencies. I've always had faith in our police and armed forces. I did not want to hurt anybody's sentiments and if I have hurt anybody's sentiments then I am really, really sorry," he added apologizing on the National TV.

When this controversy started Salman's father Salim Khan tried to defend him telling that Salman is not "articulate and political" the and the intent behind his remarks should not be misinterpreted. He even said that through Salman is not articulate, he should apologize for hurting the sentiment of the people.

Arbaaz Khan the producer of the movie Dabangg took to his brother's side saying "Whatever Salman said was just his opinion and he had no intention of hurting anybody's sentiments."
The reaction of the Political Parties:

Reacting to the controversial words of the actor, Public Prosecutor Ujjawal Nikam said, “If Salman is making such a statement without knowing the details of the case, it is foolish. Terrorists do not strike after differentiating rich from the poor nor do they differentiate a village from a city. The attack has wide ramifications as it killed many people and because the conspiracy was allegedly hatched in Pakistan."

Every body from the Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan, Maharashtra Congress spokesperson Anant Gadgil, Abu Azmi, State president of Samajwadi Party, to BJP spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain condemned Salman's statement in their own ways.

Their were protests held against the actor by the political activist on Sunday. The protesters burnt his posters and expressed their anger.

DEEPIKA, FARHAN...THE SIZZLE FIZZLES

Farhan Akhtar and Deepika Padukone may or may not have been steaming up the shoot off screen, but they had promised us a sizzling intimate scene in Karthik Calling Karthik.

It has all turned out to be rather anticlimactic though. Apparently, the much talked about scene has been toned down. Director of the film, Vijay Lalwani, prefers to play it down, rather than play with fire.

A source from the production who has seen the film told Mumbai Mirror, “Kuch bhi nahin hai woh scene mein. Aisa lagta hai ki kuch hone wala hai lekin kuch bhi nahin hota hai. It is something like they used to shoot in olden days.”

The scene, which was shot with only a few people on the set, had Farhan raving about it. He had said, “Before shooting that intimate scene, Deepika and I spent a lot of time together so that we could create a comfort zone between us. Moreover, we shot the scene in the presence of people with whom we were comfortable.”

Well, wife Adhuna may not agree with their idea of ‘comfort’. When asked if Adhuna objected to the scene, Farhan had said, “It wasn’t difficult as we share a great relationship with each other and she understands that it’s a part of my profession. If she would not have understood that it would have been very difficult for me to go ahead with that scene.”

It is still is a mystery why the intimate scene between Farhan and Deepika in the final cut is not very hot.

Did Deepika Padukone tell director Vijay Lalwani and producer Ritesh Sidhwani that she didn’t want the intimate scene to become the talk of the town because she wants to get back with Ranbir Kapoor? Or was it the rumours about her off-screen chemistry with Farhan that prompted her to do so? Or did Adhuna insist on toning it down because her husband was rumored to be very close to Deepika? While the real reason remains elusive, its repercussions will certainly be seen on screen.

Shah Rukh Khan apologize

SRK reach Mumbai today amidst tight security and Shiv Sena was accepting an apology from SRK, and he apologized, but to Karan and Kajol.

SRK said, I am really sorry. Would like to apologize to Kajol, Karan Johar and our business partners. The film is going to be affected because of what I said. ‘My Name Is Khan,’ is not my film alone. It has Kajol, Karan ( Johar) and 150 other people whose livelihood depends upon it.”

He further added, “I have done nothing wrong in saying what I did about the Pakistani players, and I said that as an Indian. If Bal Thackeray will call me, I will meet him anytime. I enjoy his company.”

Meanwhile SRK who is a son of a freedom frighter, was branded as traitor by Shiv Sena.

Party chief Bal Thackerey said, “Shahrukh is a traitor and he has insulted sentiments of Indians by favoring Pakistan players.”

However Shiv Sena has decided not disrupt MNIK screening, they said, “How do we awaken this Congress party? This is how you rule. So go ahead. Let Shah Rukh Khan show his film My Name Is Khan without security. Traitors with the blessings of the Congress go ahead; the Shiv Sena will not block you.”

Good that Shiv Sena has decided against disrupting of the movie.

Salman: No need to apologize SRK

Old friend of Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan has come out to support SRK in the on going Shiv Sena contentious matter.

SRK who was targeted by Shiv Sena for supporting Pakistani cricketers to take part in IPL, the Shiv Sena has asked SRK to make an apology for his remarks or else they will disrupt the screening of his flick My Name is Khan.

However good old friend Salman Khan has stood up for SRK and feels that he doesn’t need to say sorry to Shiv Sena, Salman said, “Shah Rukh doesn`t owe an apology to Shiv Sena”.

Salman further adds, “What should he ask for forgiveness for? ‘My Name is Khan’ should be released for sure. It has to. As an industry we pay huge entertainment tax to the government and we entertain the people also. We don’t think like politicians. I anyway don’t understand this whole thing of taking a morcha and going to somebody’s house,”

“I think what Shah Rukh said was that the Pakistani players should have been included in the IPL. If I’m not mistaken even our Home Minister P Chidambaram said the same thing. Sports and politics are two different things. In cricket, the only thing you hit is a ball. A sporting field is all about sportsmanship, sports are such a wonderful leveler that both winners and losers shake hands in the beginning as well as at the end of the match.”

Earlier Abhishek Bachchan also tweeted in support of SRK.

Katrina Kaif was awarded with excellence in cinema award in Delhi and she utilized her time to dance and perform at the sangeet ceremony of Radhika Singhl and Saurabh Doot.

While few days ago Katrina said that she is very conservative and will refrain from wearing bikini and smooching onscreen, she danced enthusiastically and did a sexy dance routine with the groom Saurabh, which went down well with the crowd, including bride Radhika.

Katrina said to Radhika, “Can I take your groom for two minutes? I want to take your permission. I don’t want to get into trouble. I’m in enough trouble already.” Radhika blushed and smiles and said, “Take him”, and then cheered them.

The star took home whooping 50 lakhs for her performance that lasted for 20 minutes.

Bikini is out of question for me: Vidya Balan

While her contemporaries Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta love flaunting their curves and hourglass figures in bikinis, Bollywood artiste Vidya Balan is quite cheerful and relaxed in her much loved clothing - the sari - and says she will not at all wear a bikini.

“I am not cut out for it, as I feel very relaxed in my saris and other Indian clothing. Even if the writing demands, I don't believe I will ever be able to convince myself to wear a sari," said Vidya, who earlier received a lot of flak for her dressing sense and plump body.

The 30-year old Balan has slimmed quite radically and looks extremely ravishing in her shiny avatar. "Of late, I have started loving the seedha palla (straight fall) of the sari. I am very relaxed in Indian attires and I guess I carry them off beautiful well," she said.

Vidya, who plays the role of a scheming seductress igniting quite some heat within the industry circles and outside on the eve of the film’s release, says that an actress should be ready to take on any role that’s offered to her. “I think I have been fortunate enough to have worked on the kind of films which have quenched my thirst as an actor. 'Ishqiya' too is one such film which has given me new challenges," Vidya said in an interview.

With an author backed role for her in 'Ishqiya', Vidya hopes to scale new heights in her acting career. "Every day is a new day and God has been really kind to me all these years. I really hope that 'Ishqiya' works as well so that I can continue to make good decisions," she says. Vidya, who is riding high on the success of 'Paa', says the role has not just challenged her as an actor but also helped she to stick to what she feels is right.

Shah Rukh goes away from Aamir

Aamir Khan’s iniquitous dog Shah Rukh has left his home and Aamir is not linked with him any longer. Shah Rukh’s custodian shifted out of Aamir’s house along with the dog.

A close friend of Aamir says, “Since the old custodian is out, there was no point keeping the dog Shah Rukh. The dog had to go with the caretaker.”
Aamir Khan’s war with SRK in progress when he blogged about the dog previous year, Aamir had written, “Shah Rukh is licking my feet and I am feeding him biscuits every now and then. What more can I ask for?” and “Shah Rukh is smelling too much, I think he needs a bath.”
Aamir also apologized to SRK’s kids for hurting their sentiments, Aamir had said, “I have only apologized to Shah Rukh Khan’s kids because they may have felt bad about it.”

Shahid removes his kissing view from Chance Pe Dance

There was a smooching view in Shahid Kapoor and Genelia D’Souza starter Chance Pe Dance, however after Shahid’s continual requests with director Ken Ghosh the view has been removed.

A basis says, “Yes, there was a kissing view in the film along with a love-making view. However Shahid thought that it wouldn’t be good for his image with the kids. He also felt it would put off people from coming to the cinema hall with their kids, and he did not want that to happen. So he spoke to Ken Ghosh (the director) and insisted the view be removed from the film. Though Ken wasn’t very keen about the idea since the shot had taken a lot of effort, he finally understood Shahid’s point of view — even Ken loved the idea of the film not having an A certificate. The view has been removed.”

When Ken was contacted to confirm the news, he said, “My film is for teenagers, for children and for families. It’s a wholesome entertainer with humor, emotional moments and lots of fun. It’s got grand music and unbelievable dancing — and it’s got a U certificate. Need I say more?”

It would be good to see a movie not including kissing and lovemaking views after a long time.
